Biodegradable PLA
Polylactic Acid (PLA) is a biopolymer made from starch. It is biodegradable and compostable. Our masks are made with inner and outer layers of PLA. By replacing the inner and outer layer of the mask with PLA we reduce the non-degradable plastic waste of our masks with 55% compared to traditional Polypropylene masks. PLA non-woven is also softer than PP, and more breathable, which makes our masks superior in comfort
